band camp was awesome
the bestest best music camp ever
i swear
came at about 5.30 pm on monday after AEM
and joined in with the
JVCB ( Jurongville Concert Band ),
DSB ( Deyi Symphonic Band ) and BLCB ( Boon Lay Concert Band)
PERCUSSIONISTS
at the concourse .
i came just in time to play a percussion ensemble with them .
wooh, was it nice !
the music exchange we had with DSB and BLCB
at boon lay the next day wasn't as bad as we though .
we got comments from conductor and alumni that we played quite well .
we learnt alot too .
especially during consultation with Mr. Tan

music exchange at deyi on the last day was great
there were 8 bands performing there.
i CONFIDENTLY told kenneth,
who kept saying our band sucks
and we will never come back a good result,
that if we were that bad,
what about some of the bands we heard that day.
he smiled and said nothing.
he should be agreeing and has nothing to say. haha
mr chia also said we are so near to gold,
its just that we don't realise it .
frankly speaking,
i dont even think we can secure even silver.
but mr chia said we are alr on silver standard .
alumnis and conductors said we stand second out of all the bands there.

my chia asked what i thought of yu ying band.
i said they were very grand
and their dynamics and music playing and phrasing and everything are very good.
he smiled and said,

one moment, the conductors and instructors
tell us we're still COP ( certificate of participation)
and the next ( before the exchange ),
we're of silver standard touching gold .
it felt very very good .
overall, the camp was great .
i didnt want it to end to soon.
hakim agreed when i asked why cant we just have the camp straight all the way to syf.
its dumb, but we really want it.
sitting under the stars at the concourse at about 10.30 pm was great.
sat with zany and deon.
well, deon , not really.
he was busy looking for shaffiqa
haha
sitting alone and lying down, looking at the stars
with zany
or should i say,
beneath the milky twilight with zany
felt,
comfortable
soothing
nice
romantic? haha !
im glad i made the decision not to do/say something that might bring negative outcomes.
dont ask . heh
it ended too soon.
mrs alice gan is SUCH a spoiler
mr tan let me sneak out that night
and so i did, with deon.
i tried to wake zany up to look at the stars again
but as i shook her,
she only opened her eyes and shut them back and went back to sleep.
i even shone my phone light to her face,
shaking her arm.
she opened up again,
squinting her eyes because of the bright light
and shut them back, again.
i whispered to her
" eh u want go out not? or u want to sleep ?"
no reply.
and so i said " nevermind lah. get some sleep. see you tomorrow, good night "
as i went back to sleep with deon,
sadly
haha!
i asked her the next day why she didnt reply me and such
and she claimed to not remember ANYTHING about it .
hahah!
cute or what!
i LOVE IT when mr chia takes us for combine.
MR CHIA- our santa claus.
brings us laughter and happiness
and joy
he's also the main reason why we've improved so much.
JVCB loves him
JVCB wants him to be our main conductor.
or MRS CHIA is as fine.
the couple is so so worried and concerned for us.
mr chia think for days to answer our qns,
like how i should play my solo
and how loud the eupho should play
when we asked him.
he always gives us a confident answer
and leaves us confident.
he doesnt leave out any parts - be it small or big
i believe we owe it ALL to the respected Chia-s
if we come back with a good result.
noone else but them mainly .
they should take over our band.
besides,
they were the ones who opened our band in 1994 anyways .
